Hope everyone had a joyous holiday season and is as excited for 2015 as I am. A few changes to the Fab 5 for this week. And…here we go!
James Bay is not on the list since he started a 5-week stay December 1st with “Hold Back The River” That long stay of course earns him a place in the Fab 5 Hall of Fame. Taking Bay’s place on the list is Jamie Scott with his song “Unbreakable.”
Also falling off this week is “Honey, I’m Good” from Andy Grammar. His three week stay also puts him into the HOF. This leaves one more open slot this week. Although an “older” song (released in 2013), Tiffany Houghton’s “High” just recently found its way onto my radar (due to the fact that her EP This is Not an EP just released December 1). Just a fun, easy, guilty-pleasure style of song that is sure to get your toes tapping, “High” takes the final space on the Fab 5 for the week of January 5. Bea Miller marks week number 4 with “Young Blood”, while Hozier’s “Someone New” stays on for week number 3 and Gabrielle Aplin hits week number 2 with “Home”.
So go check out the new Fab 5 now!
